Where are you living now / where are you from: I am currently a college student in Montana, USA.
Timeframe for a move: Most likely May of 2014, I wish to come to Puerto Vallarta for the summer and then to begin University in Mexico in the Fall.
Where else are you considering: Nowhere else really, as Puerto Vallarta is very close to my University for Fall.
Why Vallarta: I would most prefer Mexico as a place to live as I love the emphasis placed upon family and the overall cultural values that exist. Puerto Vallarta in particular because it is a vibrant city with many young people (like myself). Furthermore, I will be attending University in the Fall (in Mexico), so to come to Puerto Vallarta a bit early would be an excellent way to boost my Spanish fluency.
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: I would like to find a summer internship or position. It does not have to be paid, I just wish to find room and board for the summer (in return I’m happy to do any sort of task), because in the fall I will begin University so I very much need to improve my Spanish so as to function better in my college (I will be at University of Guadalajara). I will not require a work visa as I just would like to work in return for a place to temporarily stay for the summer.
