Timeframe for a move:  We may be annual snow-birds for a while as we get to know the area, with increased ramp-up over next few years

Where else are you considering:  Costa Rica

Why Vallarta:  Vallarta appears to be just the right size for us. It’s big enough to provide a nice diversity of activities and plenty of energy but not so big as to be overwhelming. There’s a nice variety around the Banderas bay and each zone has its own character – one of which I’m sure will be a good fit for us.

How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you:  Right now we’re doing research on healthcare resources including insurance as well as housing options. Also I’m looking for affordable wellness and sporting options such a health club and hiking or biking groups. We attended one of the Happy Hours during our last trip and just chatting with others was a big help – so we’ll continue with some of those contacts.
