Barb Sochacki
Employed or Retired: Retired
Where did you live previously: I just moved from a northwest suburb of Chicago. Couldn’t be more THRILLED to never see snow again, wear a down coat, gloves, boots, scarves, etc.
What part of town do you live in: I am in the Old Town Area, D’Terrace, immediately East of the Tropicana Hotel. Two blocks south of V177
Why did you decide to move to Vallarta: LOVE the Mexican culture and people. Of course the weather is key after living most of my life in Chicago and/or the Midwest. I explored moving to Belize, Costa Rica, and Cozumel. I finally decided on PV because it has the big city feel that I’m used to, but also has the small town feel of the Old Town. Couldn’t be more thrilled with being here.
What are the top (3) things you have learned that you think might help someone moving to Vallarta now: Wow, I think it’s a little too soon to say I’ve actually learned anything. I’m still in the exploration stage, totally thrilled with just being here.
