Where are you living now / where are you from:  We live in Riverton, Wyoming. I was born in San Antonio and my son was born in Houston. My dad was in the Air Force so I have lived all over the U.S., Okinawa and Japan.

Timeframe for a move:  I need to sell my home and the winter is NOT the time to move due to the bad weather. We have had almost 20 inches of snow in the past two weeks. I plan to put it on the market the end of February 2017. I would like to get down there before next winter. So I am open

Where else are you considering:  Anywhere close to Puerto Vallarta. I have researched a bunch of other places but I am focused on the PV area.

Why Vallarta:  The cost of living and weather really are key. Get me out of snow!!!

How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you:  I want help finding a place where I can walk pretty much everywhere. 2 BR and 2 Bath with an area to garden (yard or terrace) and allows dogs. I have two Miniature Schnauzers. I need to know how you guys found your places. I want to rent first. Also, I am on Medicare as is my son. We both have the supplemental (gap) through Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Do you keep your Medicare? Did you drive?
