Hi Carolyn, this is Dennis Janson. I am a retired California Highway Patrolman and my wife Faye and I have lived in PV fulltime for 12+ years. I am very active in various things in the Expat community. Chaplain of the American Legion Post #14, Member of the Navy League and involved in lots of functions and know a ton of people and services here in PV. Have been to San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Taxco, Cancun, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Baja California etc. I am considered one of the go to folks for info here and can get you to others if I don’t know. The Consular Agent here refers and asks for my help in locating felons etc.
My e-mail is fsphoen@juno.com or Hiswllhiswayministriespv@gmail.com or go to website for Casa Hogar Maximo Cornejo Quiroz and you will see our photos and the kids.
We are volunteer missionaries here and teach English at the Casa Hogar Maximo Cornejo Quiroz Orphanage and the DIF (Social Services) Boys Home.
If you have questions just ask and I will help. God bless.
P.s It is safer here than most of the USA & Canada. We have widow ladies drive all the way down from the states and live here fulltime. We love the culture, the people of h my the great restaurants. We have two Walmart’s, a Sam’s Club, Home Depot and more Starbucks than you can shake a stick at. God bless.
P.s.s. This is a very active gringo community with many clubs and theaters etc. You can only chose to be bored. Hehe.
