Charles Clark
Employed or Retired: Retired
Where did you live previously: Indiana University School of Medicne
What part of town do you live in: Rio Cuale
Why did you decide to move to Vallarta: We had visited PV for nearly 25 years with our family during school breaks. When we retired in 2010 we bought a condominium here.
What other places did you consider: None
What were the main reason(s) you moved here: We love the city and life style. One of our children is married to a Mexican and lives in San Miguel de Allende. We can maintain our standard of living in retirement in Mexico. We lived in Argentina and are fluent in Spanish.
What are the top (3) things you have learned that you think might help someone moving to Vallarta now:
- Do not believe the hysterical American press, Puerto Vallarta and most of México are very safe places.
- The Mexicans are incredibly nice, helpful people.
- You can easily duplicate you American standard of living at about one third of the US cost.
