When did you move to Vallarta: Our first visit to Puerto Vallarta was in 2001. We fell in love with the city and bought our condo in 2005. We started living here for extended periods of time in 2007.
Why did you decide to move to Vallarta: We decided to make Puerto Vallarta our home because we fell in love with the beauty of the people and area. The nationals are very friendly and treat foreigners well. Even though Puerto Vallarta has a large population it still has a small town ambiance.
What other places did you consider: We traveled to a few places in Mexico but never seriously considered living anywhere else.
What were the main reason(s) you moved here: We moved here for the people, the sights, the food, the weather, the medical facilities, and the activities here in Puerto Vallarta.
What are the top (3) things you have learned that you think might help someone moving to Vallarta now:
- High quality medical and dental services at the fraction of the cost in the states
- A large assortment of progressive charity organizations to participate in from orphanages, social services and pet rescues.
- Safe and secure tourist destination
