Where are you living now / where are you from: We are originally from California. When my husband retired in 2010 we moved to Florida… and then Sparks, Nevada where we currently reside.

Timeframe for a move: We are flexible but we are looking at Spring 2015.

Where else are you considering: If we decide not to move to Mexico at this time, our second option is to go the motorhome route. Take a couple of years exploring the U.S. and then possibly driving to Mexico or on to Costa Rica.

Why Vallarta: We have been looking at more cost effective options for a life. Having vacationed in Mexico quit a bit; we know there is much to love about Mexico.. the people, it’s history and culture and the food is fantastic! Before deciding on a location we listed some of the things that were important… An affordable, beautiful area with a lot to do, great healthcare, an airport, an expat community and we felt it would be best to choose an area that would provide an easier transition for us as our language skills definitely need some work.
