Where are you living now / where are you from: Currently living in Northern California. Dale is a native Californian and Rhenda was born in Michigan but has lived in various places in the US.

Why Vallarta: After looking at various places we decided PV fit the bill. We love Mexico, like the climate, and it’s an easy flight back to Northern California to see the kids, grandkids and friends.
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: We will be in PV for 10 days the first part of June and hope there is a get-together so we can meet some people and get some questions answered about moving to and living in Mexico.

We are also from Northern California, to be specific from the SF East Bay, i.e. Castro Valley. I am a retired CHP officer and also a retired Real Estate Property Management Business Owner in San Leandro. We are now voluntary Missionaries and teach English in an orphanage, a Social Services Boys Home and a fishing village high school south of town. We have been here twelve (12) years and would only return to see our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We are very active and I am a networking type guy. We belong to a very active nondenominational English speaking church here and it is a great place to meet other gringos that leave here either part time or fulltime like us.
