Where are you living now / where are you from:  Los Angeles CA. We are looking for a place to retire and I am looking at several places. I like to plane ahead!

Timeframe for a move:  6 – 8 years

Where else are you considering:  Charleston, SC & maybe some other cities in Mexico

Why Vallarta:  We’ve been there on vacation and liked it a lot more than Cabo San Lucas.

How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you:  We’d like to find out about daily/monthly expenses, should we rent or buy and the usual question about medical care. Should we start learning Spanish now? Do we have to pay taxes on Social Security and other retirement income. Just everything! It seems so overwhelming
