Where are you living now / where are you from: We currently live in Cary (Raleigh), NC. We are from TX and have lived in southern CA.

Timeframe for a move: Summer 2015, we wanted to move down in Fall of 2014 but because of family issues we had to postpone.

Where else are you considering: Right now only PV. We spent a lot of time traveling last year (9 countries in all! ) trying to figure out where we want to be. We feel like PV is a good transition for us for our first move abroad.

Why Vallarta: Out of all the countries we went to we felt the Mexican people where the warmest. We really like Merida but it was lacking in natural beauty and was not close to water. We love the water and jungles in PV. We also like the fact that there is a good airport near PV to travel home and to other places.

How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: Transporting our pets, what to do for health insurance, what people use for cell service (US company or Mexican), banking recs, good internet recs (crucial for my spouse’s work), bring your car or buy one in Mex, what to bring and what to leave behind, my husband has rheumatoid arthritis so we need an English speaking doc for that, vet recs, best places to get our Rx meds, good places to learn Spanish, good places to look for long term home rentals (we are interested in old town or south of town), can you get Netflix to work there, really anything that you think we really need to know is greatly appreciated!
