Where are you living now / where are you from: Living in Florida now. Moving to PV within a month or so. We’re from all over – actually lived in PV from 2005 – 2008.

Timeframe for a move: Late March – Early April 2013. Complicated because of new rules

Where else are you considering: No place else – we plan to be in PV for a long long time

Why Vallarta: Loved it from the first time I visited over 20 years ago. The PEOPLE are great. The weather is terrific.

How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: Help us figure out how to get to PV. We are driving to PV from Orlando. Want to bring a bunch of our stuff. Hope to bring a trailer with some furniture and household goods and clothes and stuff. Don’t know what will happen at border. Trailer OK? Duty or no duty? We went to the Consolate in Orlando a few weeks ago – they didn’t have answers to getting visas, bringing goods or much else – very frustrating. HELP. We just want to get to PV and stay there. Have a nice place rented and waiting for us.
