Why did you decide to move to Vallarta? My husband and I chose Vallarta when he reitred after several previous visits because of its physical charms, the wonderful people, comfortable cost of living and proximity to family in the US

What other places did you consider? Costa Rica

What were the main reason(s) you moved here? Its beauty and cost of living

What are the top (3) things you have learned that you think might help someone moving to Vallarta now?

• Mexicans are NOT lazy, they are hard workers and go out of their way to be helpful.
• Cost of living has risen quite a lot in the 20 years I have lived here, especially where it comes to fine dining and housing
• It is still affordable
