Why did you decide to move to Vallarta: Our family has been coming to Vallarta for more than 30 years, even before our 2 children were born, and we have always felt at home here. Now that we are semi-retired and have purchased a condo we plan to spend more time here. We have travelled up and down the coast and also inland visiting many of the towns and always discover something new and interesting. We love the people, the culture, and the weather.

What were the main reason(s) you moved here: PV has pretty well everything! We like the direct flight from Vancouver to PV and the close proximity to the airport. 5 hours and you’re in paradise. PV has beautiful beaches, lush vegetation, friendly people and a laid back pace of life. There are many expats and we enjoy making new friends and integrating into the local community (which is important to us). PV now offers many top notch services, like hospitals, dentists, vets, etc.

What are the top (3) things you have learned that you think might help someone moving to Vallarta now: Go with the flow and adapt to the culture.
