Where did you live previously? I lived originally in Finland, then in Iceland, after that USA, Nevada and Arizona, off and on in Italy and now in Mexico permanently.

When did you move to Vallarta? About 25 years ago.

What part of town do you live in? Downtown Centro

Why did you decide to move to Vallarta? At the time it seemed to be the closest thing to Italy, my favorite country, athmospherically, yet close enough to USA.

What other places did you consider? Italy.

What were the main reason(s) you moved here? I am originally a European, so I like the life style of Mexico.

What are the top (3) things you have learned that you think might help someone moving to Vallarta now?

• Do not consider this country the same as USA.
• There are many differences.
• Have a lot of patience.
• Try to live here and now- Most Mexicans do.
