Where are you living now / where are you from:  Portland, Oregon
Timeframe for a move:  We plan to be in Mexico approximately 4-5 months a year beginning probably in 2019. For now we come down a few weeks a year.
Where else are you considering:  Nowhere. We built a home in Boca de Tomatlan so that is where we will be located.
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you:  Right now we could use assistance finding someone who speaks English who can diagnose and correct the issues we are having with our water filtration system. Our builder/architect cut many corners since we were not there during the construction. So right now the entire system is out and there is no water. We will be down in November and would like someone to fix it while we are there. Anyone know anyone whom they could refer?

Also I want to find out about medical care/medical insurance. I probably will purchase a Mexican or international plan. I have no idea if my insurance covers care in Mexico but it is a Blues so I assume they would cover something. But I’m most concerned about when we retire there and I’m no longer working. Boca de Tomatlan has no medical care at this point. They built a nice clinic but it has yet to open as there is no staff. So I’ll want to know exactly where to go in an emergency.

When we are down in November it would be great to meet some xpats if there are any events during that time. Thank you
