Why Vallarta: I’ve been to other countries and like Mexico the best. I had planned to go back to Ajijic, but read that there’s much crime there now.
My oncologist has spoken to me about Puerta Vallarta, and is moving there with her husband. Her description sold me.
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: I’ve read about the 5 areas of P.V. and am thinking of Old Town. Can you suggest a few hotels or other places to stay for a few days just to check it out.
Also, good places to live – exact places. Do Expats rent rooms or apartments. I’m not into pricey, exquisite. I love simple elegance. Clean, safe, good ambiance, convenient to markets, plaza, etc. I also want to live inland a little. Too humid right on the beach for me.
We would recommend Hotel Playa Los Arcos in Old Town. Right on the beach. You can get all-inclusive breakfast only option. We always eat big breakfast and lighter meals at lunch and dinner.
The people at the hotel are friendly and helpful. We’ve been going there for quite a few years.
