Why Vallarta: I love the beauty of the ocean and the mountains and I have a lot of friends here.
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: I am a martial arts instructor specializing in 3 – 6 year old kids. I would like to help Aikido Vallarta open a Little Ninja program. I have no idea how to reach the the expat community that has children in this age group.

Hi Melisa, you are making a very wise decision. My wife and I have lived here fulltime for 13 years. I am a retired California Highway Patrolman. I was also an Aikido instructor for the CHP and many police & sheriff departments. I am afraid there are not many Expats with children here but you should be able to get the more moderate and upper income Mexicans to put their children in your program.
We are originally from California but the Lord led us to come and be missionaries teaching English at many different orphanages, a high school and churches. I am also the Chaplain for America Legion Post #14 here. I have a very busy senior with many contacts including the police academy here in PV. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. p.s. there are about 50,000 permanent Expats here and many gringo activities. And we have two couples from NY who came and help us during the year in our ministry.
