Where else are you considering: Nowhere else. Not any other place I could think of wanting to live. 🙂
Why Vallarta: My first trip to PV in 2010 was a real eye-opener for me about what I wanted for my life and where I saw myself in several years. I decided on that first trip that I was seriously considering a move to PV. My second trip this June completely solidified it for me. After moving from Florida, I never thought I’d want to live in a tropical climate again, but there is something that can’t be put into words about PV. The people, the culture, the architecture, the views, the food… I fell in love, I found my new home; what more can be said?
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: I’m planning on 2-3 more trips before the final move in late 2013. I’m hoping to be able to establish connections to facilitate working in home health / healthcare tourism. I’m an RN (BSN) with 4 years clinical experience, primarily in critical care, though looking to transition to community / home health.

I came across your profile while browsing the site. As I too am an RN, I was interested in finding out if you ever did move to PV and if so, have you had any luck finding employment at all? Either in nursing or something else?
I am in the midst of researching how to move and would be really grateful if you could share anything about your move and employment search or opportunities in PV.
