Where else are you considering: Just the pacific coast of Mexico, P.V area primarily.

Why Vallarta: Having traveled to P.V area several times and finding it a good compliment to my personality, I believe I will be happy settling there for a while.

I don’t have many expectations for my relocation there. I love the city, enjoy the people and can easily tolerate all the quirks. I find my brain settles down and I simply enjoy my life more when I am there.

How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: I do plan on taking some immersive Spanish language trips prior to that move – recommendations on schools in the area greatly appreciated!

I love to sail and have been doing so in the PNW for a while. I am not certain the same opportunities will exist there for me, but I hope so! If you sail and have some suggestions on a club or regular sails please let me know. I am fairly active and proficient.

Also, if anyone else is doing some exploratory trips down in Fall ’14 and throughout ’15 and would like to link up for some support travel buddies, etc…let me know. I travel well with others (if they are the low key type) and its always nice to have someone to talk with at the end of the day when you discover new things! I am very low drama, roll-with-it (but with a solid backup plan for everything) kind of traveler.

When I am in town there I will be going it alone, but I am a social person and hope that I can meet some nice, relaxed people who enjoy a similar lifestyle of calm and sane living. Things I enjoy while I am there: Coffee, a cold beer, trying new restaurants, sunsets-as-spectator-sport, a walk, exploring other towns, book clubs, language study groups, theater, museums, beach combing…
