Pia Louise
Employed or Retired: Employed
Where are you living now / where are you from: Currently living in a small hamlet, Medford NJ – just east of Philadelphia
Timeframe for a move: Coming down some time in Spring ’15 for initial search for a rental property.
Where else are you considering: I was considering Baja Norte: Rosarito Beach or Baja Sur: La Paz due to the proximity of US and variety of flora and fauna
I also traveled to and researched some locations in the Southeastern region of U.S. but it does not meet some core needs.
Why Vallarta: I think P.V. really fulfills so many important elements of what I require in my life: The nature and beauty of the region. It will work to my advantage to be in a Tourist – related location too.
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: I am a single woman and I am quite used to living alone, traveling alone etc…but the challenge with a move like this is to connect with an already established community.
Hi Pia.
I am like you in many respects. Maybe we can connect if it’s possible.
Arlene
You have pciked the right spot based on what you have said. We have lived here 11 years and would never return to the states to live. There are about 50,000 full time Expats here. There is so much to do you can’t fit it all in but have fun trying. We have a lot of outreaches to the poor and also to children where if you have a mind to you can volunteer an hour every once in a while or be more invloved. We have the Rotary Club, the Lion Club, the American Legion, the Friendship Club, they also have card clubs, and many casino’s. But what we love is the beauty, nature and people. We have scuba diving, snorkling, hiking, nature reserves, fishing, whale watching, bird clubs and much much more. e-mail me if you have questions regarding visa, legalinzing vehicles or leaning Spanish. I am a networking type guy and very active in the community.
