    Hi Shirley,
My name is Trenie, retired, single, and just moved here late 2013. I have a 3 bd. 3 ba., 2 storyhome home in a gated community and live with Murphy, my cat. I have decided that I chose to live alone but thought it would be appealing to have “visitors” now and again just for fun. I live about 1 mile North of the PV airport. If you chose to visit for a week, two, or three it would give you some insite on knowing if PV is high on your list to possibly move here when retired. We could look at many rentals throughout the entire area. The Old Town area is high on many peoples requested list. It is right on the beach with places from about $600.00 to $1200.00 average. Of course there is also high end condos in the same area. You could step right out of your door and be within walking distance of all of your needs. Many people do not have a car but use public transportation. I have heard of several people getting together for a weekend and renting a car to visit areas close by. I am a member of this club and you can see me on this site. I will also be happy to send you pictures of my “casa”. I would only request that you pay $125.00 a week and that would include internet, unlimited calls to the USA, A/C, private bedrm and ba., gated community, on bus line, all utilities also included.
I am learning daily as I “stumble” through this adventure myself but am gaining new insight daily. This club is a great help.
Looking forward to hearing from you and if you make new decisions (as I did often) concerning your retirement, hey, your still welcome to visit.
Just remember sometimes you have to go out on a limb because that is where all the fruit is,lol Trenie
