Timeframe for a move:  3 – 6 months
Where else are you considering:  Portugal. We would like to retire in Cascais, but our elderly parents in Washington state need more support than we can offer from there. PV is a short flight from Seattle and the time zone makes it easy to make a nighly tuck-in call.
Why Vallarta:  We want a place that offer both beach and culture. We’re also looking for a place with an active expat community that we can join. Community is an important part of the move for us.
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you:  We are trying to figure out the logistics of moving — finding a nice rental, figuring out our mail, finding an attorney to help with residency and taxes, driving down with our two dogs, etc.
