Where are you living now / where are you from:  I’ve been in California for 1 1/2 years after 8 years in Costa Rica. I’ve decided to move later this year to either Costa Rica or Mexico. I am so familiar with Cost a Rica that it would be easy, but I lived for a short while in San Miguel de Alkende, and my experience was great. I am a mostly-retired artist and know my small nest egg will go a lot farther in Mexico. Friends are really talking up the Buceria s area – it sounds like I need to come and explore.

Timeframe for a move:  This year for sure – June?

Why Vallarta:  Love to be at the ocean! And I have family in California, and there are good flights. Also, I understand there is a sense of “communuty” for expats.
