In Louisiana, Member Profiles, Thinking of Moving to Vallarta, US

Status: Couple
Thanks and enjoy Semana Santa!
Employed or Retired:  Employed
Where are you living now / where are you from:  New Orleans! But a Baton Rouge/Monroe cross.
Timeframe for a move:  I am hoping to teach in PV for Summer 2016
Why Vallarta:  I live in New Orleans, Louisiana. Everybody says PV is just like New Orleans but on the sea. That sounds wonderful to me.   I am an experienced, certified ESZl teacher with 7+ years of experience with adults and teenagers.   A good friend who has a language school in Morelia once told me that a lot of schools offer English during Summer vacation.
I would love to come down, teach, and get to know your town.   Friends tell me it is New Orleans by the sea.
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you:  I love sailing, snorkeling, teaching English as a foreign language, making coffee and Sno Balls!   If anybody likes all this stuff or knows someone who does, tell them to give a shout. I’ll hear it!

Good choice. My wife and I are missionaries here for 12 years and teach ESL at an orphanage and also the DIF (social services) Boys Home. Their are many gringos teaching ESL here but there is a big demand. We volunteer but know many others teaching for not much pay in the tourist industries. My e-mail is fstphoen@juno.com if you want a contact for networking etc. Home phone 52-322-113-0205 or MagicJack USA # 707-225-6451. God bless.
