Sharon & Rick SeeberStatus: Couple

Employed or Retired:  Retired

Where did you live previously:  Seattle WA

What part of town do you live in:  Nuevo Vallarta

Why did you decide to move to Vallarta:  We have been coming here for years and loved it. It’s changed a lot over the years, but wouldn’t want to live any place else.

What other places did you consider:  None

What were the main reason(s) you moved here:  The weather, the community here, the people of Mexico are wonderful. The ability to live nicely on a retirement income. The slower pace, beautiful sunsets, Margaritas.

What are the top (3) things you have learned that you think might help someone moving to Vallarta now:

  1. Make sure you understand our weather here, hot and humid in summer with Hurricane warnings and lots of rain, lightening and thunder. (We actually love this)
  2. Come and visit here a few times and try to make sure when you do you move around the area your interested in and see what’s there and how you travel in these area, buses, combies (mini vans), taxi’s, rental car, or your own vehicle.
  3. Try to make contact with other people already living here and talk and talk, ask questions. But most of all relax and enjoy!
