Where are you living now / where are you from:  Sacramento, California…I am a native Californian, currently an elementary teacher in public school.

Timeframe for a move:  one-two years from now. at the very latest, hoping to retire in 2020.

Where else are you considering:  Costa Rica, Panama

Why Vallarta:  I have heard good things about the affordability of Mexico in general. I like the fact there is a large expat community there, and returning to the states is convenient when necessary for visa renewal and other matters. Many people I have talked to like the area immensely. Also want to investigate San Pancho and Sayulito.

How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you:  By helping me find you all when I come down there this November! Where do you meet, what are favorite haunts, how can I meet individuals willing to show me around for an hour or a day… help me find affordable places to stay, etc.
