Where are you living now / where are you from: I’m living in Las Vegas and nearing my 30 years of service–meaning RETIREMENT!

Timeframe for a move: I am hoping to move to PV in May of 2013.

Where else are you considering: Costa Rica or Playa Del Carmen

Why Vallarta: I love Mexico! I studied in Mexico City at 17 years old and have never quit returning to visit it’s lovely people and locations. Initially I was drawn to Playa Del Carmen, but after a VERY steamy visit there started to look into Puerto Vallarta. It seems to encompass the best of things and is closer to the States for family.

How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: I am going to be looking for a dog friendly rental, either a small home or condo. I could use help in finding the right areas, prices and long term rental contract. I want to be somewhere somewhat central so that a social life will be possible.
