Where are you living now / where are you from: Currently “homeless” on purpose. But, we still call “home” Washington State. We lived on 34 acres in the middle of nowhere only 6 miles from Canadian border 2.5 hours north of Spokane.
Timeframe for a move: Will be in PV for 5 months from Dec 15 to May 14, 2014.
Where else are you considering: We have been country shopping for one year and have spent 3 months in Panama and 3 months in Costa Rica. We are currently in Ecuador, then on to Nicaragua, ending our tour in PV for 5 months next winter. We vacationed in PV for years and it has been our benchmark during our search.
Why Vallarta: We love PV and vacationed here for years! It’s a city large enough to give all the goods and services. Plus, good night life and good restaurants of all price ranges. It allows a good opportunity to get to know the true locals and become a part of their community too. Good health care at reasonable costs. And, close enough to home where the family wants to come visit.
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: Looking to network and absorb the dos and don’ts. Want to meet up and interact when there.
Hey Tricia~ You are here too….you are everywhere! I joined the site some time back. Met with Sara and Mike when we were in town in December and donated to Sponsor site….But, gotta say that other that articles of some interest, I get little from it.
Frustrating to me, is repeatedly seeing Questions asked, 200+ “views” and NO responses or answers…it is like everyone that comes here is just a “creeper”–that does not offer any answers to questions asked.
Anyway..just sayin…..

It’s just amazing how similar your travels are to ours. I think we just missed you in Panama…we we at the Coronado Country Club for 3 months last Fall, and are now in Cuenca, almost 3 months. We are looking into how fast we can get to PV.
Question: Do you think it is possible for us to get the same deal you got at the bldg you two are at?

Hi Tricia and Mike,
Just wanted to introduce myself to you folks. We have been following the group you established Everything you need or want to know as well as your blog for sometime now and hope we can meet up with you in the near future. We will be in PV in mid November for several months and have been visiting this great city for many years.
It seems we may have some common interests from our past lives! I retired several years ago after spending 23 years with Coldwell Banker. The most recent as an owner of Coldwell Banker Tomlinson in Kennewick with partners Bob Tomlinson,Fred Meyer,Mike Hume and Brian Balch. My wife Theresa has been with Coldwell Banker for 29 years and is retiring tomorrow.
