Where are you living now / where are you from: Wendy & I live in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho — a couple hours south of the Canadian border. Our daughter’s family includes 3 of our grandchildren (ages 3 to 7 yrs,) living in nearby in Post Falls, ID. We moved to Idaho from Blaine, WA in 2014 after retiring in 2013 and doing some house and pet sitting in Portland, OR, Denver, CO, Springfileld, IL, Austin, TX
Timeframe for a move: Our trial move will be spent this winter (2017-2018) in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We will be staying at an Airbnb in the Agua Azul neighborhood.
Where else are you considering: I visited Quito and Cuenca, Ecuador in February, 2013 fo 12 days. Loved El Centro in Cuenca!
Why Vallarta: We met some friends locally who have been visiting Puerto Vallarta in the winter months over the past several years. They have convinced us of its safety, affordability and charm.
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: We’d like to attend your social events and get to know you better. We believe you can inspire us further.
I have an ESL (English as Second Language) certificate and would consider volunteering as an instructor’s assistant in Puerto Vallarta.
