Where did you live previously:  I currently live in Santa Monica, CA, and travel periodically to PV (hopefully more frequently soon).

What part of town do you live in:  Amapas & Conchas Chinas

Why did you decide to move to Vallarta:  The proximity back to the States to visit family is attractive. I love the feeling of town, and views of mountains and ocean. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating, with the right amount of “hustle and bustle” from the visitors to town.  I also wanted a location where I could buy property and easily rent to tourists while I’m away, until I relocate permanently.

What other places did you consider:  Playa del Carmen, Belize, Costa Rica, Ecuador.

What were the main reason(s) you moved here:  Location, location, location! And that PV is such a safe place for any type of visitor or resident.

What are the top (3) things you have learned that you think might help someone moving to Vallarta now:  Don’t be in a rush. Take your time to visit the various neighborhoods. If buying property, be comfortable with the process taking longer than expected.
