Where did you live previously:  Costa Rica -San Jose, Cuidad Colon, Alleula Dominican republic, Barcelona Spain, Ecuador-Cuenca, Salinas; Keep a House in Vancouver where we live in the summer

What part of town do you live in:  Hotel Zone

Why did you decide to move to Vallarta:  Closer to Canada. Over a day to return to Canada. Visited twice before liked the atmosphere

What other places did you consider:  Costa Rica, Ecuador, Dominican Republic and Spain

What were the main reason(s) you moved here:

  • Climate is good. Ecuador and Costa Rica on the coast to hot.Cost of living is lower plus food quality is as good as the U.S. and Canada
  • My wife would not go to the Ferria (Farmrs market in Cuenca) Turkey live tethered as were chickens in cages. Guinea pigs in cages and skinned .a Delicacy.
  • You had to converse in Spanish as very few spoke English in costa Rica etc.Here you can start in Spanish a lot of people respond in English

What are the top (3) things you have learned that you think might help someone moving to Vallarta now:

  • Know some Spanish
  • Learn the transportation system
  • Be polite and forgiving we are guests in Mexico
