Where are you living now / where are you from: We were both born and lived most of our lives in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We now live near Asheville, North Carolina.
Timeframe for a move: Hopefully within the next year or so.
Where else are you considering: We have looked at warmer parts of the United States such as California, or known Liberal havens such as Oregon or Washington state.
Why Vallarta: I am tired of the cold weather as I age, and am similarly fed up with the neo conservative, intolerant direction our country has taken. America no longer feels like a country I wish to live and die in.
How can ExPats in Vallarta assist you: We will eventually need advice on real estate and banking. Also we would like to meet open minded, tolerant and artistic fellow expats when we move down.
